    “जैसे रुकी हुई सरकारी भर्तियाँ”

The claim says government recruitment has been stalled. But official sources show recruitment is continuing: the Union Public Service Commission advertised posts and finalised results in 2026, and a parliamentary answer says recruitment drives are ongoing. The Madhya Pradesh fact-check also says the 87:13 formula did not halt recruitment. So the claim is false.

    What is actually true

The official record does not show government recruitment stalled. The Union Public Service Commission, which hires for central government posts, advertised direct recruitment in August 2026 and finalised recruitment cases in June 2026. A Rajya Sabha answer on 30 March 2026 said recruitment drives in the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Airports Authority of India and Directorate General of Civil Aviation are ongoing.

    • The Union Public Service Commission invited applications for direct recruitment to various Government of India posts in August 2026, with applications open from 8 August to 28 August 2026. [8]
    • The Union Public Service Commission finalised recruitment cases in June 2026 and March 2026. [5][6][7]
    • A Rajya Sabha answer on 30 March 2026 said recruitment drives in the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, Airports Authority of India and Directorate General of Civil Aviation are ongoing and are periodically reviewed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. [4]
    • In Madhya Pradesh, the 87:13 formula did not halt recruitment; appointments continued against 87 per cent of the advertised vacancies. [1]

Public schools, hospitals, BSNL, ports and airports have been privatised.

Some asset cases are not a blanket privatisation of public services.

    Prayagraj rally · 8 August 2026, 8 Aug 2026

    What is actually true

Most public schools and hospitals were not privatised. Listing five systems as already sold is false.

    • Government and aided schools remain the large majority of school enrolment in UDISE+ and Ministry of Education data. They were not privatised as a system.
    • Public hospitals under state and Union health departments still operate. They were not sold as a bloc.
    • BSNL remains a public-sector telecom company. Listing it as already privatised is false.
    • Some ports and airports have seen private operation or PPP. That is not the same official fact as “ports and airports have been privatised” as a completed national sale, and it does not carry schools and hospitals with them.
